An Early 1900s Home Remodel - Part 5

In the final installment of this series of posts from Lucas Builders, we bring you through the transformation of the Master Bathroom of this Merriam Park Home. Constructed with luxurious amenities and thoughtful design.

Utilizing the vaulted ceilings to our advantage, we were able to open up the shower area and create a combined bath and shower room with a freestanding bathtub and dual shower heads. Surrounding the area with marble tile and custom glass, we left one wall to serve as the accent. The room is capped off with a pair of custom-built elongated niches for plenty of shower storage.

The double vanity provides ample storage for everyday items while being accompanied by a pair of backlit and heated vanity mirrors. Combined with the heated bathroom floors, it creates a comfortable atmosphere for the room.

The heated floors carry into the dedicated water closet, where we have again utilized the vaulted ceilings to create custom storage in an otherwise unusable area.
