An Early 1900s Home Remodel - Part 4

The fourth installment of this series of posts from Lucas Builders shows a refreshed mudroom and powder room, making the entrance to the home more cohesive and functional while still maintaining the home’s character and original features.

In the space, all new heated tile flooring was installed, making clean up on snowy days much easier, in addition to making the room feel much larger. Refinishing the original mudroom cabinets and adding two new matching cubbies gives all the space you need for heading in or out the door.

The powder room received new paint and fixtures to match the rest of the home, in addition to creating more space by removing a large cabinet. Refinished original trim and removal of the wallpaper brings the space together with the character of the house.
